What you will be doing:

Timely delivery of guests' vehicle and any other items requested from their vehicle
Personalize guests' valet experience in a professional, friendly and engaging way
Maintain presence on the front drive as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests
Greet all guests and colleagues with a smile and an appropriate hospitality greeting
Anticipate guest needs by providing water, towel service, offering assistance with luggage, doors, etc. before they even have to ask
Provide an orientation to guests about their parking options, fees, and promote valet service as part of an exceptional guest stay
Coordinate driveway, lanes, entrances and exits to ensure smooth flow of vehicles and traffic
Maintain cleanliness of driveway
Collect complete and accurate guest information on valet ticket
Complete a thorough walk-around of guest vehicle prior to entering garage, ensuring to highlight any damage on ticket and advising guest of the same
Pay close attention to vehicle warning lights, signals, and vehicle condition, reporting concerns to Supervisor
Ensure all vehicle keys are clearly identified and stored in a secure location at all times
Ensure vehicles are locked after parking to ensure security of guest belongings
Provide directions, weather and traffic advice to guests upon departure
When requested or anticipated, provide guests with information and answers to questions about Hotel facilities, meeting functions, dining facilities, local transportation alternatives, and tourist attractions.
Assist in emergency response situations, including fire alarms,
Promote safety and security by reporting any suspicious or unusual behavior or occurrence to the appropriate supervisor on duty, and informing security or management as required
Promote our loyalty program and provide special acknowledgement to our AccorLiveLimitless (ALL) Members
Follow all other policies and procedures
Assist with any other duties or special projects as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

Service focused personality is essential, with previous valet experience preferred
Valid Class 5 driver's licence and ability to provide clean driving abstract
Ability to operate all types of vehicles (manual & automatic transmission, luxury vehicles, keyless start, etc.)
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to work flexible and rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, early mornings, late nights, etc.
Proficient in computer skills
Professional working proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English

The physical job requirements include:

Constant standing and walking
Occasional running and jogging
Frequent ascending/descending ladders, ramps and stairs
Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
Occasional bending, kneeling, squatting
