We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projectsMonitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specificationsPerform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project statusAssign responsibilities and mentor project teamCooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical supportReview engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear or related field from a four-year college or university and 10-15 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Engineering (PE) license Experience managing radioactive material and operations Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen Knowledge of specific software (Solidworks, Microsoft Office including Project) Active Department of Energy Q-Clearance or the ability to attain/maintain government security clearance. Ability to travel domestically, if needed, less than 10%.
