Wage rate: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour (for 37.50 hours per week) Term of Employment: Full time, Permanent (Overtime & weekend, if required). Education: High School an asset. Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience. Language: Basic Knowledge of English. Job Duties: Study diagrams to determine dimensions to be constructed Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. Measure and cut saw boards, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, power saw, or other woodworking machine. Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients. Prepares layout using ruler and framing square Supervise apprentices and other construction workers and may provide estimated cost of project Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs).
