Job Duties: Cut and trim hair according to n=model and company instructions or preferences. Shave and trim beards and moustaches. May shampoo hair and provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and may also provide scalp conditioning massages. Suggest styles based on models physical features to focus more on the companys products. Determine styles from companys instructions and preferences. Train and supervise other apprentices. Job Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of a seven-month to one-year apprenticeship or another barber program is usually required. Completion of a one- or two-year hairstyling apprenticeship program or completion of a college or other program in hairstyling combined with on-the-job training is usually required. 1-2 years of relevant experience is required. Terms of Employment: - Position: Full-time, Permanent Wage: - $29.00 per hour- 40 hours per week. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
